Yard Waste Site to Change Operating Hours for Fall Season

Grand Island, Neb. — The Grand Island Public Works Department would like to issue notice that the Yard Waste Site, which is located on Monitor Road just north of Old Potash Highway, will have new operating hours for the fall season beginning Monday, November 4. The new hours will be:

  *   Monday thru Friday               9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  *   Saturdays                              8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  *   Sundays                                Closed

Please note the closing hours during the week have changed from 6 p.m. to 5 p.m. to better coincide with the upcoming daylight savings time change. The Yard Waste Site will close for the season as weather conditions and/or traffic flows warrant.
