Woman Arrested in GI on Outstanding Warrant

Brief Narrative: On 09/16/2024 at 1843 hrs Officers made contact with a female that had an active Hall County Warrant. The female was recognized to be Andrea Griffin from the active warrant list. Andrea walked away from Officers and failed to stop when Officers asked Andrea to stop. Andrea actively resisted when attempting to handcuff her. Andrea pulled her arms to her chest and did not put her hands behind her back when lawful orders were given. Officers conducted a search of Andrea and her property search incident to arrest. Officers located drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine. Andrea was charged with Obstruction of a Peace Officer, Resisting Arrest-2nd/Subsequent Offense, Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Controlled Substance and the Hall County Warrant.
