Woman Arrested In GI on Drug Charges

Brief Narrative: On 7/11/2024 around 20:00 officers were notified by a concerned citizen that a female was running around the area of 319 S Walnut St with a knife. Officers responded to the area and located a female wearing a red shirt, grey shorts, and short black hair which matched the description on the corner of Koenig St and Walnut St. The female was verbally identified as Kaylee Gordon. Kaylee was asked about the knife and advised she never had the knife but mentioned she knew it was in the yard. Kaylee was seen to be acting erratic and a pat down for weapons was conducted. During the pat down Kaylee gave consent for officers to search her pockets and during the search a loaded syringe was located. The liquid in the syringe was presumptively tested and showed a positive result for methamphetamine. Kaylee was placed under arrest for possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. It was found the syringe contained 0.3 grams of Methamphetamine.
