Wildcat Hoops split day in Broken Bow.
The St. Paul Wildcat Basketball teams closed out the first part of the season before the Moratorium with a stop at Broken Bow.
The Indians came red hot as they jumped out to a 17-6 1st quarter lead hitting 11 3s enroute to a 67-29 victory over St. Paul to improve to 4-1 while the Cats head into the holidays with a record of 4-2.
Charlee Wegner led the way with 14 points while Aubree Fitzgerald had 8.
The Boys needed to overcome a 35-23 halftime deficit to head into Christmas with a .500 record and did just that after Broken Bow scored the first 5 points of the 2nd half before St. Paul went on a 19-0 run to close out the 3rd leading 42-40. St. Paul never looked back outscoring Bow 13-10 in the 4th for the 55-50 victory.
St. Paul will come out of the break with a stop in O'Neill for their Holiday Tournament.
