Walker Signs With Chadron State Football

(Grand Island, NE) - Northwest senior Cam Walker made it official on Wednesday signing with Chadron State College in Chadron, NE to play football for the Eagles.
Walker played all 10 games for the Vikings this past fall in his senior campaign, hauling in 56 passes with 786 yards and 8 touchdowns. His season-long catch was a 67-yard touchdown at York that would allow the Vikings to tie the game with a point after at 7-7 with 3:21 remaining in the fourth quarter as Northwest would go on to win the game 10-7 to propel them into the playoffs.
During Walker's junior season, he would catch 49 passes for 536 yards and six touchdowns. Walker plans to go into physical therapy.
Chadron State this past season went 3-8 and is under the direction of Head Coach Jay Long.
