Tonight - Northwest Hits The Road To Broken Bow


(Broken Bow, NE) - The Northwest basketball teams will travel to Broken Bow tonight, (Friday, December 22nd), to close out action before the holiday break. The Northwest girls are coming off a 45-38 win on Tuesday, December 19th. The victory for the Vikings was their 4th in a row to push their record to 5-3. Broken Bow girls enter the contest this evening with a 6-1 mark. The Indians are currently on a three-game winning streak with their last game on December 19th with a 63-39 win vs Hershey. 

The Northwest boys (1-5) are searching for their second win of the season. The Vikings went 1-1 last weekend winning at Lexington on Friday, December 15th 57-28 but then fell to Aurora in a hard-fought, close contest, 45-40. Broken Bow boys also enter tonight's game at 1-5 on the season. The Indians won their first game of the year against Arcadia/Loup City 48-31 and since then have dropped five in a row falling to Holdrege, Minden, Ainsworth, St Paul, and Hershey.
