Spaulding Named Good Samaritan’s Caring Kind Winner
Kearney - Justin Spaulding was recently honored with the 2024 Caring Kind Award for CHI Health Good Samaritan. Recipients of the annual award go above-and-beyond to exemplify caring, compassion and service excellence shown to patients, coworkers and the community.
Spaulding, an advanced practice respiratory therapist, was presented with the honor by Good Samaritan President Curt Coleman. He was selected from nominations submitted by hospital staff.
As Good Samaritan’s Caring Kind Award winner, Spaulding represented the hospital at the Nebraska Hospital Association (NHA) Annual Convention in La Vista, Nebraska. NHA has paid tribute to more than 2,000 of Nebraska’s most caring and dedicated health care workers since 1979 at the event.
The following is an excerpt from Spaulding’s nomination:
“Justin is a stand out and deserves recognition...even though he will be humble and slightly embarrassed. He is always willing to help out and is most always the first to lend that hand. He goes outside of his own department duties to help wherever he can. He always has a positive outlook on life and tries to bring a smile to others. He makes a real difference in our department’s morale and we are lucky to have him on our team!”
