Southwest Pulls Off Comeback Against Wauneta-Palisade

Wauneta, NE -  Things didn't really work out well for the Southwest Roughriders in the first half including a pick six and a fumble that the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos would capitalize on and would punch Southwest in the mouth making the score 25-0 before Southwest would end the first half with two scores making it 25-12 at halftime.  After both teams would exchange blows in the third quarter things would finally get settled by the Roughriders in the fourth quarter scoring three consecutive times to pull off the come from behind victory and win the game 41-39.  Southwest improves to 4-2 overall and return to action on Friday, October 18th at Sumner-Eddyville-Miller. (6-0) Meanwhile Wauneta-Palisade slips to 2-4 overall and will also return to action on Friday and travel to Wallace. (5-1)
