Overnight Damage To The Heartland Events Center

(Grand Island, NE) - Early this morning, a vehicle crashed into the south side of the Heartland Events Center. Below is a statement from HEC Executive Director Kyler Tarwater regarding the incident:

“I was notified early this morning that a vehicle had struck the building near the entrance of the Bosselman Conference Center. Police have been notified and are handling the investigation. Through initial damage assessment, we are not expecting future events to be impacted by this incident. Thank you for your support and understanding as we begin work on repairing the south entrance area."
