GRAND ISLAND, NE: Northwest High School has been selected as a recipient of PGA REACH Nebraska’s Clubs FORE Youth Program —growing the game of golf and providing the proper equipment for present and future athletes to succeed — in 2024. Northwest will receive six sets of brand new Callaway golf clubs (five right and one left-handed), six brand new Sun Mountain push carts, and PGA Professional Instruction.

Coach Diane Rouzee’s application expressed the PGA Reach Foundation of Nebraska’s need and willingness to provide this fantastic opportunity for the Northwest High School girls' golf team. “This plays a pivotal role in our program by allowing girls to have good golf equipment,” Coach Rouzee said. “We are very grateful for this opportunity. Golf is hard enough to play and I know the PGA Reach Foundation providing this equipment will help NW girls in the near future.”

The equipment is going to be presented at 11a.m. Wednesday, May 29 in Grand Island, NE at Jackrabbit Run Golf Course by PGA REACH Nebraska Board of Director member Assistant Executive Director Seth Scollard. Other Nebraska schools who have received the Clubs Fore Youth Grants include Ravenna High School, Doniphan Trumbull High School, Blair High School, Stanton High School, and Papillion LaVista South High School.
