League One Volleyball Scrimmage Coming To Grand Island

Grand Island, NE – December 3, 2024 – Grand Island Senior High is excited to announce that it will host an open scrimmage for League One Volleyball (LOVB)-Omaha this Saturday, December 7th, 2024. This marks a unique opportunity for local fans to experience the newly launched professional volleyball league in the U.S.

The LOVB-Omaha team, featuring a dynamic roster of former Husker and Creighton volleyball athletes alongside international professionals, will take the court at Grand Island Senior High for a public scrimmage. Among the standout athletes in attendance are Olympic Gold Medalists from the 2020 Tokyo Games: Jordan Larson, Lauren Stivrins, and Justine Wong-Orantes.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, December 7th
Time: Doors open at 12:15 PM. Scrimmage begins shortly after and will conclude around 2:00 PM.
Autograph Session: 2:15 PM
Location: Grand Island Senior High (Enter through Door #1)
Admission: Free and open to the public
