Huskers Announce Four Fall Scrimmages

The Nebraska softball team will host four free public scrimmages in October to offer fans a chance to see the 2025 Huskers in action. The public scrimmages will be the only chance to watch the Huskers this fall, as the scrimmages will replace the previously announced open practices.
The scrimmages will take place on the last four Wednesdays in October (Oct. 9, 16, 23 and 30) at Bowlin Stadium, with each first pitch occurring at 4 p.m. (CT). Fans are allowed to bring their own food and drink to the games.
Husker lineups will change each week. Assistant coach Olivia Ferrell and graduate assistant Allie Light will aid in the Big Red’s pitching rotation during the scrimmages, as several NU pitchers are recovering from injuries which forced the cancelation of a normal fall season.
Nebraska’s 2025 roster features 24 players, including 14 returning letterwinners, six transfers and four freshmen.
