Husker Starting 5 Mini Plan on Sale

Herbie Husker

Lincoln – Guarantee your seat at Pinnacle Bank Arena for your choice of the biggest games for the 2024-25 men’s basketball season, as the Nebraska Ticket Office has brought back the Starting 5 Mini Plan.

For just $50, fans can purchase 300 Level seats for five games during the season, which includes a mix of Big Ten and non-conference games. Fans can choose from any two Big Ten games and three non-conference matchups or the exhibition game against Grand Valley State.  The $50 cost is a $10 savings compared to purchasing single-game tickets separately.

The Starting 5 Mini Plan went on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 23.  To purchase your Starting 5 Mini Plan or to learn more information on the plan, visit Huskers.com/Tickets or call the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office at 800-8-BIGRED during business hours (Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-4 p.m.).

Other than season-ticket holders, the Starting 5 Mini Plan gives fans their best opportunity to get seats at PBA this season before single-game tickets go on sale this fall.

The Husker men return seven letterwinners, including three starters, from a team that went 23-11 and reached the 2024 NCAA Tournament for Big Ten Coach of the Year Fred Hoiberg.  NU is led by the senior duo of Brice Williams (13.4 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 2.5 apg) and Juwan Gary (11.6 ppg, 6.1 rpg) while adding the services of seven Division I transfers to the lineup.

The 17-game home schedule includes 10 Big Ten Conference matchups, including games against defending Big Ten Tournament champion Illinois, postseason qualifiers Iowa, Minnesota and Ohio State as well as games against Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Rutgers, UCLA and USC.  In CBS’s preseason poll, four Husker home opponents (Ohio State, Indiana, UCLA and Rutgers) are all ranked in the top 25+1.

Fans will also get to see two of the newest members of the Big Ten in 2024-25, as the matchup with UCLA will be the Bruins’ first trip to Lincoln since the 1955-56 season, while the game with USC will be the first matchup between the teams in Lincoln since 2012.
