Hastings Hit with Scam e-mail
The City of Hastings is issuing a warning to the public about a phishing emails posing as city employees and other city officials. These emails use a sending email address not affiliated with the City of Hastings but made to look as if it is an official city of Hastings email.
The malicious emails come from the following email address:

This email and domain are not affiliated with the city of Hastings and are posing as real city employees. Report this email as Phishing/Spam and delete the email from your inbox.
DO NOT INTERACT with the email in any other way.
DO NOT SEND MONEY
Verify all requests for money with city staff.
All official city of Hastings email will come from the "@cityofhastings.org" domain.
The "usa.com" domain is not affiliated with or controlled by the city of Hastings.
