GOP Candidates For Governor Participate In Forum

All six Republican candidates for governor took the stage together for the first time on Sunday afternoon, in the Nebraska Farm Bureau's Gubernatorial Forum at the Younes Conference Center in Kearney. 

Theresa Thibodeau, is a former Nebraska state senator 

Brett Lindstrom is currently serving in the Nebraska Legislature

Jim Pillen, is a University of Nebraska regent from Columbus

Charles Herbster is a Falls City businessman 

Michael Connely, is a veteran from Lincoln.

Breland Ridenour is an Omaha IT manager

Former Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman is still considering a run he’s expected to make a decision early in 2022. 

On the other side of the ballot State Sen. Carol Blood of Bellevue, is the lone democrat who has announced a run for the office
