GIPS Board Set to Meet UPDATE

The Grand Island Public School Board of Education meets Thursday. It begins at 5:30 at the Kneale Administration Building.

Informational items include discussing closing Seedling Mile Elementary for the 2025-26 school year to make better use of staff and finances.

The board will hear about budget preparation for the upcoming fiscal year.

An executive session will have negotiations with the Grand Island Education Association, and Superintendent Matt Fisher about his contract.
