GIPD Awarded $10,000+ for Make it Click Mobilization
Grand Island, Neb. — With more and more drivers hitting the road for the holiday shopping season, the Grand Island Police Department is issuing a friendly reminder to buckle up.
GIPD has been awarded $10,514.53 to carry out Selective Overtime Enforcement for the “Make it Click” seatbelt mobilization campaign from November 23 – December 1. The enforcement will target seatbelt usage to help reduce fatal and serious injury crashes in Nebraska, Hall County and Grand Island.
