GICC Set To Host Lincoln Christian Friday Night

(Grand Island, NE) - The Grand Island Central Catholic basketball teams will host Lincoln Christian on Friday, December 20th. The Crusaders girls (2-2) are coming off a 1-1 Friday & Saturday a week ago. GICC lost to Columbus Scotus 63-28 and then went on the road winning at Omaha Duchesne 51-42. The Lincoln Christian girls enter the game with a record of 5-0 as the defending Class C1 state champs from a season ago. The Crusader's last action was a win vs Lincoln Standing Bear 73-11. 

The GICC boys (2-2) also went 1-1 last week. The Crusaders would defeat Columbus Scotus at home 50-41 and then Saturday would fall at Crusader Gym to Hastings in overtime 48-45. Lincoln Christian enters the matchup with a record of 3-2 with the last action on December 14th winning vs Lincoln Standing Bear 64-49. 

Both girls' and boys' games will air live on KRGI 1430 AM/105.5 FM & krgi.com as coverage starts at 5:45 pm with the Pump & Pantry Pregame Show.
