Brief Narrative: Report of a suspicious subject near Gates Elementary School acting erratic and distressed while running at walkers. Offender contacted at John St. & Curtis St. Offender attempted to assault an officer by punching him. Sabre Abuhania was subsequently arrested for Attempted Assault on a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest.

Offender: Luis Pernia Mendoza

Brief Narrative: Officers were dispatched to CHI St. Francis for a belated child abuse of a 3- month-old infant. The infant was transferred to Children's Hospital in Omaha for further evaluation of a possible head injury. Luis would be booked into HCDC for Intentional Child Abuse With No Serious Bodily Injury.

Brief Narrative: An adult female reported being subjected to an unwanted sexual assault. The case is under investigation.

Offense: Fraud
Victim: 77 year old male Incident #: L24070097
Date and Time of Incident: between 6/1/24 & 7/2/24
Location of Incident: 1136 Custer Ave
Brief Narrative: On 07-02-2024 at approximately 12:00 hours a belated fraud call was dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center, 111 Public Safety Dr. where a reporting party advised his sister has been using his father’s debit card without his father’s permission. Investigation is ongoing.

Brief Narrative: Third party report of possible minor under the age of 18 being videoed while in a state of undress. At this time in is unknown if the minor has knowledge of the video.
