Offense: Domestic Assault

Location of Incident: 2719 W 4th St
Brief Narrative: On 1/2/2025 at 0610 am, officer responded to the listed above address reference, a Domestic Assault incident. The officer arrived on scene and made contact with an adult male who verbally identified himself as Jason Noziska. During contact with Jason, he advised that he and the female involved were married and currently staying at the address above. During the investigation, it was found that Jason physically assaulted his wife by getting on top of her, placing his hands around her neck and applying pressure to the point of impeding her breathing. This was later confirmed by a third-party witness who was also in the home and assisted with pulling Jason off the female victim. Jason was arrested for Domestic Assault and Strangulation.

Financial Transaction Device /$5000.00+, Unauthorized Use of Financial Transaction Device /Under
$1,000-5,000.00.

Brief Narrative: On 01/02/2024, Ezequiel Barraza-Anguiano was contacted in the city limits of Grand Island. Ezequiel had two active and confirmed Hall County warrants. Ezequiel was placed under arrest for the warrants and was arrested for [CR24-78] Fail To Comply Court; Operate Motor Vehicle Avoid Arrest [25-2121] CLASS IV FO and [CR24-264] Fail to Comply; Revocation Probation [25-2121] [29- 2266] Class IV FO

Brief Narrative: Officer observed Wendy Little Elk sleeping in her running vehicle at the White Horse Tavern, 1803 North Front St. Wendy Little Elk showed signs of significant impairment. Wendy Little Elk has four prior convictions for DUI in the last 15 years. Little Elk's license is revoked for 15 years from DUI and she has two prior DUR convictions. Little Elk was arrested for DUI 5th Offense, Refuse to Submit to Chemical Test/5th-Subsequent and DUR from DUI/Subsequent.

Brief Narrative: Victim reported someone to have attempted to steal her vehicle as it was parked in front of the residence at 1515 W 1st St. This incident was related to a string of incidents involving multiple stolen vehicles, taken from one area of Grand Island, within a short amount of time. 13 yr old male referred for Criminal Attempt 28-201 III FO (Theft, more than $5,000 28-511 IIA FO)

Brief Narrative: Victim called 911 to report her 2017 GMC Terrain taken from the driveway. Victim advised the vehicle was being warmed up when the offender drove off west bound from the residence. The vehicle later located at the Git N Split in Grand Island. Victim had video of the incident.

Location of Incident: 1622 W Division
Brief Narrative: On 1/2/2025 officers responded to the listed above location in reference to a Vehicle Theft. While enroute to the location officers were advised suspects left the area west bound prior to officers’ arrival. While checking the area, officer received a call of another vehicle theft from a residence involving a silver Ford Escape. The victim was able to use a tracking device to locate the vehicle at a nearby gas station. While enroute to that area in attempt to locate the vehicle, the vehicle was located on Hwy 281 and Hwy 34. Due to the vehicle listed matching the description that the victim gave, officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop on this vehicle. While initiating the traffic stop with emergency lights and siren, the suspect vehicle took off at a high rate of speed, weaving in and out of traffic with no regard to public safety and or other vehicles or persons along the roadway. The traffic stop was discontinued as the vehicle continued south bound out of city limits. The officer was later notified that the vehicle was located with three juvenile males inside by Hastings PD. All three juveniles were arrested and later transferred to juvenile detention centers after a probationary intake. The vehicles stolen were estimated above $5,000.
