Offense: Drugs
Victim: Incident #: L24111213
Offender: Yahya Abdi
Date and Time of Incident: 11/15/24 @ 11:40
Location of Incident: 718 North Front St W
Brief Narrative: On 11-15-2024 at around 11:40 Am, Yahya Abdi flagged down officers reference being threatened by a male with a handgun. While contacting Yahya, he described the gun and the actions the suspect used with the gun, during contact with Yahya. The other person involved was contacted and through review video, it was found that no handgun was used in the incident. Yahya was placed under arrest for false reporting. During a search incident to arrest, officer located a small baggie in Yahya's front pocket which later tested positive for Methamphetamine. Yahya was arrested for Possession Of Controlled Substance and False Reporting.

Brief Narrative: Officers responded to the area of 704 W 2nd St in reference to a disturbance. It was then reported a robbery occurred at Pioneer Park. Case is open.

Brief Narrative: A male reported that while his wife was shopping at a local store, the IPhone 15 she uses was stolen out of her bag. The phone was valued at $1500. Case is open.

Brief Narrative: On 11/15/24, officers received a belated report of a vehicle theft. Further investigation is required to determine if the vehicle actually exists, is owned by the reporting party, and was stolen.

Offender: Tom Ross, 17 yr old male
Date and Time of Incident: 11/16/24 @ 11:45
Location of Incident: 3315 S Blaine St
Brief Narrative: On 11/16/024 at 1152 hours officers responded to LE Ray Park located at 3315 Blaine St. S. for a reported assault involving a male brandishing a knife. Upon arrival Officers observed a male, later identified as Tom Ross, holding a metal pipe and a bottle of chemicals standing near the driver's window of a vehicle occupied by a juvenile male. It was later relayed that the disturbance originated from a road rage incident on Blaine St. S. just prior where both Tom and the juvenile then entered the park. The juvenile alleged that Tom exited his vehicle and walked up to his window brandishing a large knife. It was reported that the Juvenile then exited his vehicle and raised both his clinched fists in an attempt to engage in a physical fight Tom. Tom reported that he then attempted to leave the area in his vehicle but the Juvenile male drove through the park in a reckless manner in order to cut off Tom's vehicle at the front entrance gate. Tom would again exit his vehicle with a metal pipe just prior to officers’ arrival. Video evidence reviewed by officers showed Tom making multiple racial slurs to the juvenile during the altercation. Tom also admitted to making derogatory racial statements toward the juvenile. Officers would later detect the strong odor of marijuana emitting from the juvenile's person. During a search of the juvenile's vehicle a green leafy substance known to be marijuana was located. Officers also located a glass pipe with burnt residue near the marijuana. It also should be noted that the Juvenile was not wearing a seat belt at the time he was contacted in the driver's seat. The juvenile also had an active detention order at the time. The
juvenile was later cited and released to his parents. Tom was placed under arrest for Terroristic Threats (Hate Crime Enhancement), Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony Non-Firearm (Hate Crime Enhancement). Juvenile Male was cited for Reckless Driving, Fail to Use Seat Belt, Drug Paraphernalia, Possess Marijuana =<1 ounce, Assault-Threaten Another Menacing Manner, Juvenile Pick Up Order-Need of Supervision.

Location of Incident: 3212 S Locust St
Brief Narrative: On 11/17/2024 at approximately 0253 hours, Officers responded to 3212 Locust St S; VIP Smoke Shop, in reference to a burglary alarm. Upon arriving, the front door was shattered, and items were taken from inside. Investigation is ongoing.

Brief Narrative: On 11-16-2024 at or around 1500 hrs, an Officer responded in reference to a sexual assault call for service. Case is under investigation.

Location of Incident: N Broadwell & W 6th St
Brief Narrative: On 11/16/2024 officers responded to the area of 6th St and Broadwell Ave reference an assault. The victim reported he was sitting at the intersection, on a motorcycle, when unknown males approached him from behind and attacked him using a collapsible baton. Case is open.

Offender: Tanner Lewis, 16 yr old male, 18 yr old female
Date and Time of Incident: 11/17/24 @ 23:36
Location of Incident: 3620 W State St
Brief Narrative: On 11/17/2024 a traffic stop was conducted on a white Kia sedan near the parking lot of 3620 W State St. Tanner Lewis was identified as the driver of the vehicle by his Nebraska Identification Card. Officers received information earlier regarding the driver of the same vehicle being intoxicated. While speaking with Tanner, officers observed him to have slurred speech, droopy eyes and the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his person. Additionally, an open alcoholic
container sitting in the center console cupholder. During Standardized Field Sobriety Tests Tanner
showed impairment and provided a failing preliminary breath test sample. Passengers in the vehicle,
who were aged 18 and 16, advised they drank some of the alcohol and had it within their immediate
vicinity. The alcohol was provided by Tanner. An administrative records check revealed Tanner's
license status was Expired, Suspended, Revoked, had two prior DUI's and had one prior Driving During Revocation. Tanner was arrested for Driving Under the Influence (3rd Offense), Driving During
Revocation (2nd Offense), Open Container, and Procuring to Minor's. The 18 year old female was issued a citation for Minor in Possession of Alcohol 1st offense and Minor in Possession of Tobacco 1st offense. The 16 year old male was issued a citation for Minor in Possession of Alcohol 1st offense.

Victim: 14 yr old male Incident #: L24111415

Location of Incident: 109 Lakeview Cir; Apt 5
Brief Narrative: Officers responded to a robbery occurring near James Road/Lakeview Circle. A juvenile male reported an unknown male held him at gunpoint and demanded his property. The victim handed over a wallet with $250 cash and a pocket knife. The suspect and another male fled.
Investigation to continue.

Victim: 20 yr old male Incident #: L24111428
Date and Time of Incident: 11/17/24 @ 20:30
Location of Incident: 3315 S Blaine St
Brief Narrative: Officers were dispatched to 2620 Faidley Ave W; CHI Saint Francis reference a Robbery. A male reported he was assaulted by two unknown white males. After the males punched him with closed fists on the head and face, they stole his white iPhone 14 with a clear case. The victim estimated the iPhone has an estimated value of $800.00. Officers observed visible injuries on the victim's face. Case is open.
