Offense: Drugs
Victim: Incident #: L24072050
Offender: Carlos Torres Morales

Location of Incident: 420 N Broadwell
Brief Narrative: While patrolling southbound on Broadwell Ave, officer observed a northbound vehicle on Broadwell cross the center line, nearly striking the patrol vehicle. Officer turned around on the vehicle and observed the vehicle's registration was expired. The officer activated the overhead lights and the vehicle pulled over. The officer contacted the driver, Carlos Torres Morales, who provided a Nebraska ID Card. The officer ran a DMV records check on Carlos using the in-car computer and found his Nebraska driver's license was revoked. Carlos showed indicators of controlled substance use and impairment during field sobriety tests. Upon completion of a Drug Recognition Evaluation, Carlos was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance and unable to operate a vehicle safely. During a search of Carlos' vehicle, a pipe used for ingesting methamphetamine was located. Methamphetamine was located in the pipe, which was confirmed to be Methamphetamine via a True Narc Scanner. Carlos Torres Morales was arrested for DUI – Drugs, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia & Driving During Revocation.
Offense: Terroristic Threats
Victim: 19 year old female Incident #: L24071968
Offender: Yerson Cruz Gomez
Date and Time of Incident: 7/19/24 @ 21:17
Location of Incident: 712 W Louise St
Brief Narrative: On 07/19/2024 at approximately 2129 hours, Officers responded to 712 W Louise St. in reference to a welfare check. Victim reported the father of her child, Yerson Cruz Gomez, threatened her, causing her to fear for her life. Yerson was arrested for Terroristic Threats.
Offense: Counterfeit Currency
Victim: Git N Split Incident #: L24072085
Date and Time of Incident: between 7/20/24 & 7/21/24
Location of Incident: 3320 Langenheder St
Brief Narrative: On 07/21/2024, law enforcement responded to a call for service in reference to a counterfeit currency at Git N Split located at 3320 Langenheder St. Upon arrival, contact was made with the reporting party, and was advised that counterfeit currency was used in a transaction from a customer that occurred on 07/20/2024. Reporting party identified currency was fake with a black marker and words stamped, MOTION PICTURE PURPOSES, instead of United States of America on the front and back of the $20 bill. At this time, suspect has not been identified. Case is open.

Location of Incident: 510 E 15th St
Brief Narrative: On 07-22-2024 at approximately 0310 hours, officers would respond to 510 E 15th St in reference to a burglary. Male pushed open a window and stole a bag with the victim's wallet. The victim would be the protected party of an active served protection order to the suspect male. Case is open.

Brief Narrative: On 07/22/2024 at 0310 hrs Officers were dispatched to 510 15th St E in reference to a burglary call for service. Officers observed a person on a motorcycle driving at a high rate of speed from the area of the burglary. Officers observed a motorcycle with no taillights at Capital Ave and Wheeler Ave. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop with the motorcycle. The motorcycle would proceed to drive at a high rate of speed northbound on
Broadwell Ave and Capital Ave. Case is open.
