GI Home Federal Eliminates Hastings
(Scottsbluff, NE) - Grand Island Home Federal punched their ticket to one of the two-state baseball tournaments on Monday with a 10-5 win over Hastings Five Points Bank. The loss for Hastings ended their season. GI went 4-0 this season against Hastings. GI will now take on North Platte on Tuesday, July 23rd at 2:00 pm CT on KRGI 1430/105.5 & krgi.com in the A7 Championship round. Grand Island will have to defeat North Platte twice to win the A7 championship. The champ of A7 will head to Elkhorn, the A7 runner-up will travel to Lincoln. The state tournament runs July 27th through the 31st.
