Free Community Education–June 25 Understanding Dietary Fats with Dr. Fruehling

GRAND ISLAND, NE--CHI Health St. Francis, in partnership with CHI Health Clinic: Nebraska Heart Institute, is offering a free community education session at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 25 in Conference Room 2/3 at the hospital. Dr. Erich Fruehling will present “The Fat Saga: Understanding Dietary Fats.” 

Essential for energy and nutrient absorption, dietary fats play a vital role in supporting cell function. Dr. Fruehling will explore the different types of fat and discuss current dietary guidelines to help attendees make healthy and nutritious choices.

Dr. Fruehling is a board certified interventional cardiologist with CHI Health Clinic: Nebraska Heart Institute.
