Fightin' Cranes Walk it Off Against Salina

Carter Cohn picks up win for GI

Making his Ryder Park debut, Drew Van Dyke smashed a solo homer in the bottom of the ninth to give the Grand Island Fightin' Cranes a 7-6 win over Salina in the opening game of a four game series.  Van Dyke also singled to pace Grand Island's six hit attack. 

The Cranes had taken a 6-3 lead in the fifth before Salina rallied with single runs in the sixth, seventh and eighth. 

Carter Cohn didn't allow a hit in picking up the win in his first game pitching for Grand Island. He allowed two unearned runs in 3.2 innings.
