Dundy County-Stratton Defeates Previous Unbeaten North Platte St. Pats

Benkelman, NE - The Dundy County-Stratton Tigers bounced back nicely after last weeks lost to Arapahoe that ended DCS chance at a perfect undefeated season.  DCS found a way to force a fumble on North Platte St. Pats opening drive which lead to a DCS touchdown as the Tigers would never trail against the Irish winning 42-21.  DCS now improves to 5-1 on the year as North Platte St. Pats falls to 5-1 on the season.  Next action for DCS will be on Friday, October 11th hosting Alma in the final game of the regular season.  The regular scheduled game on October 18th has been forfeited by Southern Valley who announced earlier this week that they have canceled the remainder of there season.
