Community Fieldhouse to Open on October 4

Grand Island, Neb. — With the arrival of fall comes “Fieldhouse Season” in Grand Island.

The Grand Island Community Fieldhouse will open for the season on Friday, October 4.  The fieldhouse is a 70,000-square-foot building that features batting cages, a turf sports field, basketball courts, volleyball courts, pickleball courts, meeting rooms and a playground for young children.

For another year, it will once again be home to a number of sports leagues, programs and indoor special events.
