Central Community College Hosted Criminal Justice in Action Day

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. – Criminal Justice in Action Day was held at CCC-Grand Island.  Professor John Sumsion and GIPD Officer Justin Slozoski spoke about the event. Hear the interviews below.

Around 75 students from 10 different schools took part in the event which included:
·        Tours of the Hornady Crime House
·        Drones demonstration by the Nebraska State Patrol
·        K-9 Demonstration by the Hall County Sheriff Department
·        Rescue vehicle and robot demonstration by the Grand Island Police Department
·        Mock courtroom conducted by Judge Phillip Martin
