Aurora Claims Central Conference Boys BB Title

Aurora never trailed in a 57-48 win over Crete in the Central Conference Boy's Championship Game Saturday in Columbus. The Huskies started six for 10 from the field, all three-pointers in building an 18-4  lead. The Cardinals got to within two in the second, third, and fourth quarters, but could never tie or take the lead.

Parker Smith hit five three's enroute to a season-high 17. Booker Scheierman, who's been in double figures every game this year, finished with 16. 

The Aurora girls earned a 59-30 consolation win over Schuyler.
